Volunteer Opportunities
Mentoring: Playing either face-to-face or online with a youth player. They may be at various levels: Beginning, Improving, Intermediate or Advanced.
Table Monitoring: kibitzing a table (either online or face-to-face) and helping with basic questions and keeping the game moving forward.
Teaching: instructing kids in how to play bridge. This can be at different levels (beginning, improving, intermediate, advanced) and either online or face-to-face.
Teacher's assistant: helping to instruct kids in how to play bridge. Assistants take role, help to make sure the lead instructor has heard a question that the kids might have, and help explain concepts. This can be at different levels (beginning, improving, intermediate, advanced) and either online or face-to-face.
Camp Coach: help as table monitor and/or mentor at Camp. We have both face-to-face and online camp, that takes place in August. Face-to-face is on Mercer Island. There are 2 shifts each day: AM and PM. You can sign up for one shift, two shifts or more....if you are interested in helping with Camp, we'll be reaching out to you with more details.
Tournament Coach: help us set up, run and break down tournaments. These can be either f2f or online. Jobs include: table monitor, hospitality (prep, service, clean up), and if the tournament is f2f, set up of tables/equipment, and take down of tables/equipment, and photographer, help with awards, etc.
General hospitality: preparing and bringing food, serving and cleanup.
